Once we realize we are just visitors on earth, that our life is not
our own, that each breath is borrowed, all the sudden our mission and
purpose becomes so much more urgent, clear and focused. After all who
goes to visit and then forgets why they went and then in their stupor
wanders about wondering why they are there to begin with. Our lives
are filled with so much more than our wants and needs when we realize
we are here on mission.

Saying "I don't have faith" or "I cant believe" is to say I do believe that my present reality wont change or cant. You always believe in something, in some form of reality and what you believe will dictate how you live. So the question becomes not do you have faith but what do you have faith in? is your perception of reality based on truth or on your environment, experiences, and preconceived notions or even your interpretation of truth? Complacency is a sly cancer that is disarming the church today. At the heart of complacency we find a forgetting of who He is that has made us, with is own blood has bought us, that lives in us, and that we worship.
Paul says in Romans that we are to handle the word of truth accurately and as worshipers we are also to handle worship accurately. Music is a powerful tool over the mind, heart, and emotions. May we never use it to manipulate but only intensify truth. Worship sets move us from one place to another. They focus our hearts and minds. May they move and focus us on truth.
